This policy explains how this website (“the site”), operated by the EMPI team (“the site operator,” “we”), processes personal data. The site presents the EMPI, Estonia Land Productivity Intelligence, platform and collects personal data in one place only: the contact form.
1. What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, work email address, company or fund name, and your message. The site sets no marketing cookies and runs no third-party advertising. Technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) may be processed by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability.
2. Why we process it
We process contact-form data for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, a demo request, a methodology briefing, a compliance walkthrough or a research-partnership question, and to continue that correspondence if you choose to. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
3. Legal basis
Processing rests on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the required checkbox at the point of submission, and on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to enquiries addressed to us. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
4. Where your data goes
Enquiries are delivered to the operator’s mailbox, info@empi.ee, which is hosted by Hostinger; Hostinger acts as an email-service provider and processes the message data accordingly. We do not pass your data to other recipients, and we do not transfer it for purposes beyond responding to you. If legal obligations ever require disclosure, we will disclose only what the law demands.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up conversation, and we delete it when it is no longer needed. You can request deletion at any time (see section 6).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@empi.ee. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Estonia, the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
7. Cookies
The site’s use of cookies is minimal and described in the separate Cookies Policy. Optional analytics cookies, if ever enabled, load only after your explicit consent via the cookie banner.
8. Security
The contact form is protected against automated abuse, transmissions are encrypted in transit where the hosting environment provides HTTPS, and access to enquiry data is limited to the people who answer it.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
